LH Bank has officially launched GENIE AI, becoming the first financial institution in Thailand to integrate a voice-activated AI assistant into its LHB You mobile banking app. This move reflects a shift in the banking industry, moving from traditional digital services to smarter and more interactive experiences.

This launch not only enhances the user experience but also sets a clear growth target, aiming to increase the number of retail customers from 400,000 to 1 million within the next 2-3 years.

GENIE AI is designed to transform the way customers interact with financial services, developed in collaboration with CTBC Bank, Microsoft Thailand, and Fusion Solutions to create a seamless “Digital Finance Lifestyle” experience.

Users no longer need to search through complex menus; they can operate it via natural voice commands, reducing steps and simplifying the process, especially for those unfamiliar with using apps.

GENIE AI comes with features that enhance the mobile banking experience beyond the traditional way.

The key is Voice-to-Action It allows users to perform transactions such as transferring money or topping up Easy Pass simply by speaking, reducing the complex steps in daily life.

The system also supports multiple languages, including Thai, English, and Chinese (Mandarin), making it accessible to a wider range of users and aligning with Thailand's increasingly international customer base.

Another highlight is its natural interaction capability. GENIE AI uses advanced natural language processing technology to understand the context of a conversation, respond naturally, and continue the conversation without the user having to repeat themselves.

In addition, it also serves as an in-app navigation aid, such as guiding users to the cardless withdrawal page, reducing the time spent searching for menus.
