Fusion Solution, in collaboration with "Na Hia Chai," is advancing research in Smart Agriculture
Fusion Solution participated in a meeting and field visit to the Na Hia Chai Thai Farmer's Lifestyle and Spirituality Learning Center to discuss collaborative research approaches for the Autonomous Rice Phenotyping project, which aims to apply digital technology and automation to rice research and Thai agriculture.
This project aims to develop an efficient method for collecting and analyzing rice plant growth characteristics, by combining Fusion Solution's technological expertise with rice knowledge and real-world field experience from Na Hia Chai.
During the conference, key concepts and components of the Autonomous Rice Phenotyping system were presented, including structural design, field data collection, and the layout of various equipment to support operation in rice fields, such as sensor systems, power systems, cameras, and control devices.
Key topics that were discussed included:
- Sensor and Power: Designing sensor and power systems for data acquisition devices
- Rice Field: Designing a test area in a rice field to suit the collection of rice plant data
- Gantry System: A concept of a rail system and mobile structure for measuring data in fields
- Applying devices such as Raspberry Pi, camera sensors, servo motors, and control systems to field research
This collaboration reflects a concrete approach to using technology to support the agricultural sector, particularly in developing systems that can increase data accuracy, overcome the limitations of traditional methods, and lead to more efficient research.
